The 321st was assigned for a short time in the Draconis Combine and produced several prominent Gunslingers who racked up impressive scores against Kurita MechWarriors.
At the time of the Periphery uprising the 321st was posted to the Fanadir system in the Magistracy of Canopus. Only their skill at manuever warfare saved the 321st Hussars from being overwhelmed by the rebel forces in the Canopian Theater. The 321st was forced to withdraw to the Inner Sphere when they could hold on no longer.
During the Campaign to Liberate Terra the 321st Hussar Regiment served as a spearhead unit as well as a rapid response force.
In the course of their career with the Blackhawks, the 321st has earned distinguished reputation as a mobile strike force. The 321st recieved their name of "Dragonslayers" due to their skill and success in actions against the Draconis Combine. The 321st has also recieved more Dragonslayer Ribbons than any other Blackhawks unit.
