Since their early days as one of the Star League Defense Forces elite regiments, the 90th Dragoons have maintained their elite reputation through the long Succession Wars following the collapse of the Star League.      Commisioned as an independent regiment on March 17th, 2906,the 90th Dragoons distinguished themselves as a SLDF unit by claiming three Martial Olympiad titles, one of only three regiments  to earn that distinction.      The 90th Dragoons saw service with the SLDF attatched to the 54th Corps of the 4th Army based near the Taurian/Fed Suns border.       The combat history of the 90th Dragoon Regiment began with the Periphery rebellion against the Star League in 2765.  The 90th saw action in the Taurian and Rim Worlds theaters of operations.  They also saw extensive action in the campaign to liberate Terra.       During the Succession Wars, the 90th Dragoon Regiment has remained the elite backbone of the Blackhawks organization.  Proud of their distinguished history, the 90th strives always to maintain their hard earned reputation.
