Susan Hussey was born to a prominent aristocratic family with a long history of military service. Her family connections along with her intelligence and talent gained her admission to the exclusive Orloff Military Academy.
Upon graduating from the Orloff Academy at the top of her class, Susan was assigned to the 1st Orloff Grenadiers where she served with distinction and was highly decorated for her actions during several combat campaigns.
Completing her term of service with the Free Worlds League Susan sought to make a name for herself as a mercenary. Travelling to Outreach she considered several mercenary commands and chose to serve with the Blackhawks.
Her training and experience were quickly seen by the Blackhawks as a great asset and she was given command of the Iron Maidens in 3058. She has led the Maidens well through several combat operations and ensured that their elite status is never to be doubted.
