| Welcome to Mrs. Owen's English & Speech classes. I have been teaching English, Speech, and Debate for 12 years. I attended college at Texas A&M, UT-Austin, and SWT. I hold a dual Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts: Communications and Russian. My Master's work is in Comparative Literature. |

| Tutorials: Mon.-Thurs. 8:30-9:00, 4:10-4:45, Friday by appt. only Averages: Daily 20%; Quiz/Double Daily 20%; Major Work 60% Late Work Policy: No late work accepted on daily work. Major grades drop to a maximum of 70, 50, 0 -- per late day. Absence: Students have an extra day for each day absent. It is the responsibility of the student to check in with the teacher about the work. Unexcused absences on presentation days will result in a late grade. Tests and Quizzes must be made up within one day. |
