Knock at the Door

The first thing out of her mouth was "He is trying to hurt me can I come in". Of course I let her in what was I to do she needed help and I was there to help.

After she had something to drink and had a chance to calm down we talked until about 5:30 am she was still scared to go back, she thought that the man might be still looking for her. I don't remember her name I don't think she ever told me what it was. All I know she needed a sanctuary and I was elected to give it to her. She had tried to call someone but no body could get to her until the morning.

I told her that she could stay right there where she was until she reached someone or she felt safe to leave and go home on her own. Then I went to bed. When I got up later she was gone. I never saw her again.

After several weeks there was another knock on my door, and again I was watching tv and just sitting there doing nothing. This time when I opened the door there stood a old man I figured he was about 65 or 70 years old and he looked like he was half dead. It was about 3am and at first I wanted to slam the door shut and call the police and wait for them to come take him away. But then I felt a voice inside my head saying "NO don't shut me out". So I didn't, I let him in and I asked him what it was that he wanted? And he told me that he was hungry and tired and wanted something to eat and a place to rest before he was on his way. And I gave it to him. And we talked about how people don't bother to help people anymore and don't even seam to care like they should.

What he said when he was ready to leave will stay with me for the rest of my life. He said this "My child you are the one of a few that I have found that is worthy of what will come" I had no idea what that meant and soon forgot it, at least I forgot it for about three weeks then it came rushing back full force.

Again about three weeks later there was another knock on the door and again I was watching late night tv. I went to answer the door and opened it, and from that moment on time stopped and I was looking into the face of Jesus Christ.

I don't think that I was even breathing and my heart had stopped beating. I managed to say something but what it was I can't remember. And I let him in.

Jesus said to me " Three times I knocked on your door and three times you let me in . You are one of my  choosen ones and there are few in numbers. You will hear my voice from now on and will see my face. There will many that will not believe you and will laugh at you. But you will not let  that stray you from me, I am joined with you for evermore and I will share with you things that need to be."

I asked him if there was something I could give to him that he needed. And he said to me then."Yes learn of my work and study my and my Fathers ways, Learn to understand what will be."

Jesus and I talked for what seamed like forever, but it couldn't have been more that a few hours. He told me of his plans for the rest of time and what to watch for. Then he told me of a test that will pass and what I was to do during that test.He said " You will hear my thought come to you , to take you and your youngest son away from here because here is not safe. You will have a green wagon and to drive that wagon west until I say stop. And you will stay there until I tell you to return."(Ofcourse I did just that.)

During our talk I wanted to smoke a cigarette and Jesus said that it was alright, I wasn't ready to enter into complete submersion and it will be years before I was. I lit up my cigarette and I didn't feel quilty. Jesus has a way of forgiving you even before the fact.

Jesus left me that night and I was totally confused about what had happened. But I remembered all he said and all I learned from him. But don't think I can sit down and tell you what he looked like or describe the sound of his voice. It is in my heart that memory.

Several weeks later I started hearing about a war over seas and how this man was taking control of a small country called Kuwait, I heard then, Jesus's voice say to me ."Go to your aunt's house in Ohio and stay there until I call you back" I left the next week and went there. I stayed there for nine months and came back only during Christmas. After the war had settled and the treat was over I had the undeniably urge to return to my home. Jesus said to me the night before I left "Go home and wait for word again to do as is needed of you" I left and came home. And ever since my husband and I haven't separated again.

From time to time I hear Jesus talking to me and sometimes I can see him standing there watching over us and keeping guard. I have heard his desires and what he wants to happen. But man must listen to him and far to many men do not. I try and sometimes I fail, but there are far to many people that say they love him but don't listen to his word the way it should be heard.

Jesus told me "There are many who will not believe you and will laugh but hold to the thought that I am with you forever"  the end.
