Ginny was dizzy with pain, her insides churning as she was slammed repeatedly against the wall. An arm hung limply at her side, the bone fractured in two places, yet her assailant did not relinquish his hold on her. Fingers twisted in her hair, yanking it roughly, but she was unable to voice her pain and terror as he had placed a silencing charm on her. Tears streamed down her face as he punched her, breaking her nose and splitting her lips.

He worked with a chilling precision, inflicting physical pain and damage on her body. The anger that erupted from him made her freeze in terror. He pushed her roughly to the floor and kicked her sharply. An arrow of pain shot up her spine as a bone dislocated.

He moved out of the shadows and crouched, watching her face intently. She stared at him through swollen eyes, the question *Colin, why?* remained unvoiced.

He bent down and whispered in her ear, “He is mine, stay away if you value your life.”

And then, he was gone, as silently as he had appeared, leaving her alone on the cold stone floor.

He strode to the boys’ dormitory, ignoring the calls from his year-mates. A tingling feeling coursed through his body and he ducked behind a tapestry. *Time’s up.* Slowly, his hair lightened to silver blond, the eyes turned to grey. His limbs lengthened to their elegant proportions. He smiled and hurried towards the sixth year dorm.

Harry rolled onto his back. There was a pressure on the bed and his partner clambered over him silently.

“What took you so long?” he asked, twisting his fingers in the blond hair possessively.

Draco kissed him fiercely, as their bodies meld.

“Mine.” He whispered darkly.
