“Come on Justin, Father doesn’t like to be kept waiting” Draco said with genuine panic in his voice, an almost non-existent trait for a Malfoy.

“Well Father is going to get upset then, isn’t he, my sweet Dragon?” Justin growled coyly as he double-checked his suitcase to make sure he had everything he needed packed.

Draco furrowed his eyebrows. Justin picked up his suitcase easily, his years as a beater at Beauxbatons had treated him well, and he smoothed the creases from his sweetheart’s forehead tenderly with his thumb.

“Don’t call me Dragon in front of Father, and don’t touch me like that when Father is around either” Draco pleaded with Justin.

Justin stopped what he was doing abruptly and squared up to Draco, a head or so taller than the blond boy he seemed almost threatening.

“Your Dad does know about us, doesn’t he?”

“Well”, Draco began “He knows that we are close, and that we have been best friends for months…” Draco trailed off

“Dragon, I can’t believe you! We’ve talked about this so many times. You know the only reason I agreed to stay at the Manor was because you told me that your Dad knew we are together” Justin fumed

Draco hooked his thumb into Justin’s belt and pulled him so close that their lips were almost touching.

“That, and you knew you couldn’t last all Christmas would me” Draco muttered breathily in a sultry voice that made Justin weak at the knees, making him fall in love with Draco all over again, reminding him why he felt so passionately about the vanilla icicle standing before him.

“Dragon, unless you promise me that we will tell your dad, together, this Christmas, I’ll unpack my stuff right now and we can go back to being friends” Justin said softly, but forcefully enough so that Draco knew that Justin meant what he was saying.

Draco slid his hands under Justin’s crisp white shirt that was designed to impress, and hooked them around Justin’s waist. Draco then rested his head on Justin’s chest, letting them rise and fall in unison with each deep breath, listening to his heart beating beneath his ribs. Justin stroked Draco’s vanilla hair affectionately, and Draco lifted his head to look Justin in his mesmerizing eyes.

“I promise, we will tell father and then everything will be perfect”, Draco said, longing for Justin to accept what he was saying and that they would talk about something else.

Justin kissed Draco’s forehead tenderly to show that he wasn’t angry. “Come on, my darling Dragon, Father doesn’t like to be kept waiting” Justin teased with a smile, and made his way to the fireplace.

Draco chuckled and held out his Nimbus “We are traveling by portkey, not Floo. Father wanted to know exactly what time we would arrive.” Justin rolled his eyes and went to stand by Draco, putting his hand on the broomstick as Draco counted down from three whilst looking at his watch. Justin felt as though a hook was pulling him by his nasal passages, but Draco had warned him of it, and he held on tight to his suitcase and to Draco.

When they arrived, or rather fell, onto the marble floor of the entrance to the Malfoy Manor, Justin couldn’t have been more overcome with be unable to believe his own eyes at his surroundings. From the marble floor up to the ceiling, which was so high that it made Justin dizzy to look at, were paintings large and small of wizards and witches that Justin assumed to be Draco’s ancestors. Justin stood up to take in more of the room in which they had found themselves.

Justin turned to his left and saw that Draco was winded from the fall and consequently he automatically crouched down and reached out his hand to help Draco up, but much to his surprise Draco slapped his hand away. Justin chose to ignore and picked his trunk up, then turned to survey the room. There was so much to take in that Justin didn’t know where to begin. Every item of furniture was familiar to him, but seemed more expensive, more elegant, more exquisite than anything he had ever seen before. Justin’s family were hardly impoverished but still he was in awe of the fact that his lover was one day going to inherit all this.

Suddenly a voice cut through the air, a soft voice that was not unlike the voice of their potions master, a whisper that was heard by everyone in its presence. Justin could feel Draco freeze. And hurriedly try and disentangle himself from his robes to stand up, but he kept getting more and more frustrated. Justin felt for him, but knew Draco would get upset with him if he tried to help him up again.

“Organize yourself in my presence. Is this the respect you greet your father with?” A tall white-blond, longhaired man with sweeping black robes embroidered in green thread crossed the grand foyer so lightly that his feet seemed to never touch the ground, and a look at pure contempt for his son and heir. He grabbed Draco by his muscular upper arms and lifted him easily to his feet. Justin looked on in concern, wondering desperately what to do with his hands until the inevitable handshake, and settled with scratching his arm for an unusual amount of time.

Draco’s face was flushed redder than Justin had ever seen it, and Justin could see that Draco was desperate to exhibit his trademark scowl, but was holding back with all his might. Lucius Malfoy span on his heel to look at Justin, who was trying dreadfully hard not to cower in the great man’s presence. Lucius had his back to Draco who was dejectedly avoiding Justin’s eyes as his brushed imaginary dust off his robes. Lucius took in a great sweeping breath that thrust out his chest. He extended a hand to Justin that he took immediately, thanking Merlin privately than he wasn’t prone to sweaty hands. Justin knew in that instant that he would rather do anything than displease the man in front of him.

“Justin Etre? My name is Lucius Malfoy. You may call me Lucius, and know that any friend of Draco’s is welcome out the Malfoy Manor. We will dine at seven. Feel free to explore the grounds. Draco will show you your chambers” Lucius then let go of Justin’s hand and turned to leave.

Lucius turned on his heel and went through the door that led to the chamber on the left and the only sound was the slamming of a heavy mahogany door, then silence. After what seemed like an hour Draco said hoarsely “I’ll show you the chambers and we can get settled” still refusing to look at Justin.

Draco walked up the steps that showed the way to the second floor. The two boys marched silently along the long corridors with Justin struggling to keep up with Draco’s quick pace. The silence was deafening, and Justin’s legs were beginning to ache. Finally Draco came to a stop in front of a large oak door engraved in gold with a large dragon. Justin smiled to himself at this. Draco took out his wand and tapped the handle three times. A bright green light shone from it, and then the door opened. Draco stepped inside and Justin followed.

No expense had been spared in terms of lavish luxuries. Everywhere Justin looked he could see material possessions of the most breathtaking quality. The deep green curtains were drawn to show a full-length window. The walls were bare unlike the main entrance, except for a large mirror in a silver frame. There was a door leading off to the right that Justin assumed to be a bathroom, and an enormous wardrobe. There was a large desk and matching chair made of the same wood as the wardrobe. The floor was a thick-carpeted earthy colour and looked soft enough to sleep on. Then finally there was the bed; a large four-poster bed with embroidered silk sheets that looked so comfortable Justin struggled to resist the urge to leap onto it.

“This is my room, the door to the right leads to thee guests room.” Draco muttered, still refusing to look Justin in the eye. Justin had never seen Draco this withdrawn, even when he first starting admitting to each other that they were more than friends

“Draco,” Justin began, wondering if should comfort Draco, question the sleeping arrangements, or ask the time (his stomach was growling fiercely). He settled with not words, but actions. He dropped his case and wrapped Draco in his arms. At first Draco struggled against Justin’s strong arms, but eventually he gave in and collapsed himself to Justin’s warm hold. When he began to shake Justin knew that he was crying, and he held the boy tighter in his arms, stroking the back of his head, letting him release the emotions he had been holding back for years. After what seemed like an hour Draco’s breathing began to regulate and he looked up at Justin. Draco’s once porcelain face was blotched red and stained with tears.

He spoke to Justin in a croaky choked voice, wanting to tell Justin things that he needed to know before he started to cry again. “He’s never pleased, he always knows just what to say, he just doesn’t- I’m not a son to him, I’m just an heir.” He sank back into Justin’s chest and cried more. Justin had a notion of Draco’s relationship with his father, but had no idea of how badly Draco was affected by Lucius’ coldness.

Justin led Draco to the bed and lay him down. He draped Draco’s ragdoll body on the soft sheets, and lay down next to next to him as Draco shuddered, trying to calm himself. Justin swept Draco’ s hair out of his eyes, and wiped away his tears. He drew himself closer and kissed Draco’s tears away, then moved his lips down to Draco’s lips, letting his own barely brush the other boys’. Justin knew that this drove Draco wild. Draco reached for a tissue from his pocket and tidied himself up.

Draco took off the extravagant traveling cloak and threw it onto the floor. Justin got the message and began to unbutton his once-pristine white shirt that was stained in Draco’s tears and cast it off. His tanned muscular chest sent shivers down Draco’s spine, like the first time they had bared their bodies to each other. Draco pushed his lips passionately against Justin’s, forcing them apart and sliding his tongue into the familiar abyss of Justin’s mouth. Justin followed suit and allowed his own tongue to seek out Draco’s and their mouth organs massaged each other fervently. Justin brought his hands up and unbuckled Draco’s belt, when suddenly there was a knock at the door. Justin rolled off the bed automatically and lay there while Draco wiped his face and got up to open the door. Justin could feel Draco’s relief when it turned out to be his mother Narcissa, come to welcome her son home.

“Draco my darling, I couldn’t wait until dinner to see you, though I am sure you are busy unpacking” Narcissa gushed, playing with an opal necklace that Draco reckoned to be new and therefore due to be complimented on

“Actually mother, I have enough clothes at home so I didn’t bring any luggage. Is that a new necklace? It looks beautiful on you mother”, Draco cooed in mock surprise. However it was in genuine surprise that Draco jumped when Justin appeared at his side, with his shirt back on having dried on the floor apparently.

“Hello Mrs Malfoy, I am Draco’s…I’m Justin. I am staying here with Draco for the holidays” Justin smiled charismatically at the blonde beauty before him. Narcissa blushed and offered a hand. Justin took it and kissed the back of it like an old-fashioned gentlemen. Draco felt a twinge of jealously, but that feeling was overruled by his pride in Justin for acting so coolly

“Oh please, call me Narcissa. And also, your father asked me to remind you two that dinner is in half an hour if you need to shower before you change” and with that Narcissa turned and left down the long corridor. Draco closed the heavy door and turned to Justin.

“You old smoothy, I hope you’ve saved some of that charm for me” Draco said, tugging at Justin’s belt.

“We’d better do as your father says, if he wants us to shower, who are we to object. And as we would hate to be late, I guess we will just have to shower together…” Justin sighed with false dissatisfaction

Draco giggled and skipped across the room and placed his hand on the mirror. It shone blue for a moment then swung open, much like the portrait entrance to the Gryffindor dormitories that they had managed to sneak into towards the end of term. Justin marveled at the brilliance of the Malfoy Manor, and followed Draco through the wall into the bathroom.

Draco took his clothes off and stepped into the large circular shower in the corner of the room. Justin followed suit, forgetting any embarrassment the boys may have had in the past about each other’s nudity. Draco started the shower, looked at Justin in all his glory as he made his way across the room and with a sigh “I forget how beautiful you are”, and began to lather up his hair.

“So are we actually going to shower then?” Justin said with disappointment as he entered the shower and pressed the length of his body against Draco’s,

“I’m afraid so, fun will have to come later. We can’t be late for dinner.” Draco rinsed he first wash from his hair and passed the shampoo to Justin. He sighed and washed his hair too.

“Don’t forget we are going to tell your parents about us tonight” Justin said with force through soapy bubbles and steam

Draco slowed and washed the second rinse, “ Must it be tonight, I’ve had such a rough day, and Father is already mad at me…”

Justin washed the final rinse from his own hair and squared up to Draco, not for the first time that day, and said convincingly “We are going to tell your parents at dinner in 20 minutes and they will either accept us or not. What is the worst that your father can do, disinherit you?”

Draco looked sideways and didn’t answer Justin’s question, instead choosing to ensure their solidity as a couple “You will stand by me whatever happens, right?” Justin, in answer, wrapped Draco in his arms and nibbled softly on his ear.

Draco jerked back to life and swore loudly, saying something about being late. He turned off the shower and pulled Justin through the portico into the bedroom. He threw Justin a towel from the bed that he house elves must have left there, and he pulled open the wardrobe to get out two sets of formal robes. One was black velvet that Justin knew would suit Draco handsomely, and the other were midnight blue, for Justin. They dried and dressed silently, and checked their reflections in the mirror that doubled as the doorway to the bathroom. Draco whimpered at the sight of his hair, and Justin whipped out his wand to fix both their hair with a simple chair that Draco must have simply not remembered in his panic.

They flew out of the door with Draco in lead, along the lengthy corridors and down the stairs, to the door on their left, and were glad to see that Lucius and Narcissa were yet to arrive. Draco regulated his breath and composure to normal by the time his parents had arrive, and Justin nervously swept his hand through his dry hair.

Narcissa was wearing Lavender robes a ruby necklace, Lucius was dressed very similarly to Draco. It was Lucius who spoke first, whilst opening the door to the dining room

“Suitably attired and punctual, Draco you appear to be learning.” Though his words may have seemed complimentary, his face wore much the same expression as he had earlier.

Lucius led the way, and as he entered the room the candles surrounding the edge of the room lit up, motion sensitive obviously. He took a seat at the end of the large table. There were two plates set to his left and one to his right. Narcissa took the seat to Lucius’ right and Draco took one to his left. Justin took the last seat and kept his hand at his sides. Narcissa fondled her necklace and Draco looked his plate determinately. Lucius clocked his fingers and the food appeared on their plates much the same as it did at Hogwarts in the Great Hall. They were served a traditional roast dinner with all the trimmings, and Lucius ate first. At this signal Narcissa and Draco began to eat, and so Justin followed suit. Lucius lifted his goblet to his lips, swilled and smelt it first, then took a delicate sip. The only sound was the scraping of cutlery on china until Lucius spoke

“So Justin, Draco has been sparse with his details of you. Tell me about yourself” He commanded slyly, but Justin knew what he wanted to know thanks to Draco’s forewarning. However he chose to play the innocent card

“What do you want to know, sir?” Draco slid Justin a sidelong glance and carried on eating. Justin toyed with his meat as he waited for the powerful man to respond.

“Of your background, parentage.” Lucius wasn’t one to toy with words like Dumbledore

“Oh, dad’s a Herbology professor, and mom teaches Defense against the Dark Arts, up in Beauxbatons. I used to go to school there, before I transferred to Hogwarts” Justin tried to get his voice to stop quivering. Something told him that showing weakness in front of this man would be a grave mistake.

“Right, and are they both, of ‘our’ kind” Finally Lucius was being more obvious, Justin chose to play his game

“I’m no Mudblood, sir. My wizard lineage can be traced back to Salazar Slytherin’s day” Justin said, hoping to impress Lucius

“Oh good. Now Draco, have you any new news for you mother and I? I hope that your grades have picked up and that Granger hasn’t flounced you again” Lucius turned to his son now, and took another sip of his pumpkin wine

“Well Father, my grades are better thanks to Justin. Actually” Draco cleared his throat and Justin squeezed his hand under the table “Justin and I are more than friends or study buddies. We are lovers”

The glass in Lucius’ hand smashed. He threw the shards to the ground. Two house elves came to clear the mess up automatically. Lucius was taking very deep breaths and Justin panicked, so he thought that the best way in which he was able to help would be to speak out, and defend their relationship

“Sir, I understand that this may be a shock, but we are in love with each other and only hope for your blessing” Justin looked directly into Lucius’ eyes. Narcissa seemed unfazed.

Draco squeezed Justin’s hand very hard. He was breathing very loudly. Lucius was staring at his plate thinking very intensely about his next sentence. He came to a conclusion, took a very deep breath and began.

“ I understand all boys experiment at your age, start to explore themselves, but this can be no more than a affair.”

Draco looked at Justin, and Justin rushed in once more to defend their relationship

“Sir, with all due respect, this isn’t experimentation or a fling. We are in love and want to be together forever, till death do us part.”

Quick as a flash Lucius drew his wand out and pointed it between Justin’s eyes. “Don’t tempt me boy!” Narcissa looked up, put a hand on Lucius’ arm, and spoke for the first time that meal

“Lucius honey, if the boy is happy, then what harm can come from it?”

Draco looked at his mother with such love and respect that she couldn’t help but smile at him. However looked backhanded her so hard that she fell off her chair

“No son of mine will become a disgusting homo. Draco, I want an heir to this estate that I can be proud of. Justin will pack his bags and leave in the morning, and if you leave with him them you will never be allowed to return. Now get out of my sight, both of you,” He said this to Justin and Draco, whilst Narcissa was picking herself. Her cheek was bright red, and she had been cut where his ring had struck her.

With a hasty scraping of chairs the boys had left the room within seconds. They ran back to Draco’s room and Draco opened the door. Draco threw himself onto the bed and curled up into a little ball. Justin lay next to him and wrapped his warms arms around him.

“I don’t expect you to choose, I will leave in the morning and see you at the end of the holidays.” Justin murmured quietly, kissing Draco’s neck gently

Draco looked up at Justin and stroked his cheek, “I wanted everything to be perfect, but I knew Father would never accept us. I don’t want to stay here; I don’t want all the money or the Malfoy Manor. I’ll pack my stuff and leave with you tomorrow”

“Don’t do anything unless you are sure that it is what you want. If you choose to stay here then we are still boyfriend and boyfriend, if that is what you want”

“I just want you” Draco moaned, tussling Justin’s long locks.

They lay in their arms until the sun set, then they changed to get dressed. Draco put on his pajama bottoms, Justin slipped under the covers nude. They had decided since they were only staying one night, they weren’t going to sleep separately. Draco got into bed and was glad to feel that Justin had warmed it up for him. Draco hated getting into a cold bed, it made him feel so unwelcome. Justin slid himself close enough to Draco to feel his warm breath on his chest.

“I love you, I love this face” Draco loved it when Justin played this game. Justin kissed his face, then moved to his neck and said, “I love this neck”

Justin went beneath the covers and murmured, “I love this chest” and began to kiss Draco’s chest more passionately now, letting his tongue move in slow sensual circles around Draco’s nipples, then down Draco’s abdominal muscles.

Draco knew what was coming and sucked his chest in, in anticipation. Justin tugged at Draco’s pajama’s, then slid them off and tucked them under the pillow, though he wanted to throw them across the room in a frenzied passion, because he knew that Draco was never able to sleep with his groin exposed. He had never explained why but Justin assumed it to be a part of his childhood that Justin didn’t feel ready to share.

Draco was already erect when Justin had stripped him. Justin smiled and kissed the tip of Draco’s penis, then opened his mouth wide and began to suck Draco’s, hard. Draco moaned loudly to show his pleasure, and Justin found this wildly erotic and sucked harder. Justin could feel Draco enjoying himself more and more, and knew that his climax was nearing. Draco rolled onto his back and Justin climbed on top of him, moving with the rhythm of Draco’ s body, which was beginning to spasm in delight. Finally Draco let out one final moan in the frame of Justin’s name and he come in Justin’s mouth. Justin swallowed eagerly and rolled off him. Draco slid his pajama trousers back on, and repaid the favour.

Though the two boys were very much in love, and had experimented with each other, neither had wanted to take their physical relationship further than they had. Neither felt ready to take the other, fully, but both were happy with where they were so far.

Down the hallway, in the master bedroom, Lucius lay in bed reading the same sentence in his book, and finally gave in and turned the light off and slid down to sleep. He thought about waking Narcissa for some intimacy, but decided against it and turned his back to her, slid out of bed, and left to go to his study and catch up on some paperwork.

It was midnight, and Justin couldn’t sleep. He kept wondering whether he had forced Draco into doing something detrimental, no matter how many times Draco insisted that coming out to his parents was a good idea. Justin looked at Draco as he slept. He was always so beautiful, like a porcelain prince. Justin threw back the covers and snaked his hands on the floor for something to cover himself with. He found a pair of Draco’s black boxers and slid them over his tanned thighs. He opened the door, and wedged a book in the gap between the door and its frame so he would be able to get back in.

He stumbled in the dark looking for a kitchen to get a glass of water. Justin got to the dining room and tried the surrounding rooms. His hand reached the door that Lucius had escaped to earlier. Before he was able to stop himself he opened it. He jumped when he saw that Lucius was sitting in the big leather chair in the middle of the room reading a very old looking parchment. He dropped it when he heard the door open, and blushed when he saw it was Justin. Justin blushed even more and back out of the room muttering apologies.

The door next to Lucius’ study turned out to lead to a stone staircase. As it was the last door on the ground floor Justin went down the stairs and was pleased to see that it was a kitchen. Justin was very sleepy and didn’t pay much attention to the details of the room. He began to open cupboards until he found one with glasses, and took one out to get himself some water. Justin turned on the water, put the glass under the tap and filled his glass. It turned itself off when Justin pulled the glass away. He held the glass to his lips and took a gulp of the cool water. He turned to leave with his drink, but when he looked at the doorway there was already someone standing there.

The glass shattered as it hit the stone floor, but no house elves came to tidy it up. The water rushed over Justin’s foot. Lucius crossed the room wearing a smoking jacket-style dressing style - maroon with gold embroidery, stopping halfway down the thigh and held closed by a single inch thick drawstring.

Lucius stopped a few feet from Justin and whipped out his hand as though from nowhere, and waved it at the glass, making it whole again, and all the water flow back into it. It flew up into Lucius’ hand and he offered it to Justin, his face unreadable. Justin took it from him and began and put in the sink “Mr Malfoy-“

“I told you to call me Lucius,” The man said; coming closer to Justin, close enough for Justin to see that he was wearing nothing under his robe.

“Lucius, I’m sorry I accidentally walked into your study-“

“That seems to be a habit of yours, going places you are not welcome” He paused o allow the full impact of his words hit Justin “You knew that you wouldn’t be welcome here if you made the extent of your relationship with my son known, and neither would he, should he choose you above me,”

Justin became very aware of how vulnerable he was, in the sound proof stonewalled kitchen, wearing only Draco’s boxers. He began to understand why Draco never slept nude. Lucius unknotted his robe and allowed them to slide off his shoulders and onto the floor. He smiled so sinisterly that a shiver was sent down his spine. Lucius stood before him, looking exactly like a tall longhaired version of Draco. Justin resolutely stared Lucius in the eye.

Lucius stroked his long fingers down Justin’s side; Justin leaned to the touch, but shuddered when Lucius tugged at the elastic of the boxers. Lucius chuckled, obviously realising that they were Draco’s. Lucius held Justin’s face and said “Those aren’t yours, take them off”

Justin acted mindlessly, pushing the boxers to the ground and then stood up again. He waited for his next instructions. A voice in the back of his head was screaming for him to run, go back to Draco, and the nice warm bed waiting for him upstairs. Lucius span Justin around, Justin bent over the sink automatically. Justin could feel Lucius pressing against his posterior. He entered Justin slowly, knowing exactly how to please him. Their bodies moved together rhythmically. Justin groaned, blocking out all his thoughts and thinking only of the pleasure he was experiencing. Lucius’ hands were on Justin’s shoulders, pulling him closer and he too began to groan.

All of a sudden there was a noise at the door. Justin turned and saw Draco stood there. He pushed Lucius off him and called out his name, but Draco was already running back up the stairs. Justin pulled the boxer shorts back in and was about to break into a run when Lucius grabbed his arm before he was able to.

“So this is how much you love Draco”, he said with a sneer. Justin could stand no more, he turned and looked at Lucius, then punched him square in the face before running after Draco. He went upstairs and along the corridor, sighed with relief when he saw that the door was still wedged open. He walked in and over to the bed, where Draco was, and began to explain

“Draco, I was- it wasn’t what it looked like- I-“

“I don’t want to hear what you have to say, I don’t even want to look at you” There was so much hurt in Draco’s voice that Justin felt ashamed to be in his presence.

“This is what your dad wanted-“ Justin pleaded

“Fuck off” Draco managed to choke out before he submitted to his own tears.

Justin opened the door to the spare room and crossed to the bed. He slept intermittently throughout the night, and kept his boxers on. When he woke, at around seven, he went back into Draco’s room (Draco wasn’t there) to open his trunk and get out some robes. He dressed and closed his trunk, and took it downstairs with him. He crossed the foyer and looked into the dining room. Draco had his back to Justin and didn’t see him. Narcissa’s cheeked must have been magically healed, for it was unblemished as if Lucius had never struck her. Lucius looked directly at him through a swollen black eye, and smiled wickedly as he had done the night before. With a wave of his wand the door to the dining room shut, and Justin could see them no more.

Justin walked to the main entrance and let himself out.
