Hospital Ball
Players dribble with ball while one or two players are "it" in this game of tag.  If a player is tagged they are frozen and must hold the ball over their head until another dribbler can dribble through their legs.

Tennis ball Dribbling

Challenge the players to dribble with a tennis ball.  This improves coordination of eye to foot, and improves the quality of dribbling.

Relay races
Set up 3 or 4 teams with challenges of dribbling around cones and back; run down and pick up a ball to head three times and run back; etc.

Turkey shoot
Scatter mini disc cones all around and have players dribble over as many cones as they can.  They should pick up the cones as they go over it.  Most cones wins, and do it again.

Sharks and Minnows

Minnows dribble from one endline to the other ( about 25 yards x 20 yards).  In the middle of the grid are a few sharks, who try to take their ball away before they dribble to the other side.  If a minnow loses a ball, they become a shark and the shark becomes a minnow.  Feel free to put limitations on how aggressive the sharks can be.  You can have minnows lined up on both sides going in opposite directions.

Mini games

Play 3 versus 3, but the coach or 2 additional players are "all time offense" and help whatever team has the ball.

Keep Away with Hands Players play keep away with the ball, but they must catch the ball.  This game gets kids moving, understanding player combinations, talking to teammates, and moving without the ball.  If the balls hits the ground it is the other teams ball.  4 passes in a row is a point.

Marbles
Players take turns with accurately kicking their ball, trying to hit opponents stationary ball(s).  Groups of 2 or three players play to a certain point total.  You get a point everytime you accurately hit a ball with yours.  Players learn accuracy, and pace/speed of their shot.
