| So the letter came and you got in (like there was ever any doubt!). You have now earned some bragging rights! You now get to gloat over the fact that while the rest of your friends will be spending the next quarter/semmester in stuffy lecture halls, you will be in sunny Florida! Most of my friends/family had never heard of the program so I had to explain the main points a few times (I can almost guarantee that people will ask you what kind of discount you get!). As for myself I didn't tell anyone in my family that I was applying, so it was really fun calling my mom up one afternoon and casually saying that I was goind to spend the summer and fall in Florida. Let's just say that she was ...surprised. She wasn't too excited at first, but then the idea started to grow on her once she found out that I'd be getting college credit! Run on home E-mail me! |
