| Delegate Cameron Cain (MS) presented us with a history lesson on the Greek involvement in World War II. Greece was pulled into the battle when Italy invaded Greece on October 28, 1940 from bases in Albania. The outnumbered Greek forces successfully overcame the Italian forces and by mid-December had liberated 25% of Albania. Winston Churchill announced that the Greeks fight like heroes! Delegate Cain’s question: What was one major effort that Greece provided to the allied forces in the war effort? |
