The Mission
of the
People to People Program
The mission of People to People Student Ambassador Program is to give Student Ambassadors a greater understanding of people throughout the world.  This is accomplished through an exciting program of varied educational activities that acquaint students with the political, economic, and cultural characteristics of the countries visited.

O Purpose of this meeting:

o -for each delegate to be able to personally state the
     History of People to People explaining the connection between
     People to People and WWII and the Cold War
o -to briefly describe the manner of conduct that should guide a
     Student Ambassador's behavior
o - to describe the background of General Dwight D. Eisenhower
      and his reasons for founding People to People
o - to provide your parents guidance in providing support to each
      of you in this process
A brand new group of delegates meeting for the first Orientation Meeting - training to become Student Ambassadors
Ice Breaker
The ICE BREAKER - Find Someone who . . .  Writes poetry, plays a musical instrument, dances, trains horses, who . . .
Working in groups to discover who dances, who writes, who plays in instrument, who . . .
Now - that first effort at COUNTING OFF - and the reasons we DO IT!  The delegation learns quickly - 20 seconds!
