The TT-33 was also made and issued in Hungary as Model 48, and in Communist China as Type 51 (54). The Hungarian arsenal of Fegyvergyan, at Budapest, developed a variation of the Tokarev for the Egyptian Police "Tokagypt" (9 Luger).
