| B & C ?Original Song by: Utada Hikaru Lyrics by: P-51 Baby | ||||||||
| (Take a chance, take a chance, take a chance) I use to be confused, misguided and lost I thought that I was all alone Baby, then you came to me Took me by the hand and whispered, "I said to you Why don't we both hit the road?" Baby, then you changed my mind Call me crazy but I think that you're the one This feeling in my heart Tells me that you're always there For you I'll go anywhere Take me away to some place we can be alone There's just the two of us (Take me with you) We'll escape all of the pains and the troubles we have Just like Bonnie and Clyde We'll runaway All the other guys I've know don't care for me at all But now that I've found you Baby, you're the one for me Everybody else believes we don't stand a chance Against the rest of the world What do they know about us? When we're together nothing else matters Our problems melt away into the ground Oh, I'm glad I've found Someone as wonderful as you Let's keep on driving until we run out of road Nothing can stop us now (Keep on driving) We can be free like the birds that fly high in the sky Just like Bonnie and Clyde We'll runaway It feels so good to be by you I don't ever want something so good to go to waste I always want to be with you Come on and try me, oh Take me away to some place we can be alone There's just the two of us (Take me with you) We'll escape all of the pains and the troubles we have Just like Bonnie and Clyde We'll runaway (Come on and try me, try me, baby) (You're my one and only yeah) | ||||||||
| P-51 Baby's Thoughts: I was never really fond of Bonnie and Clyde themed songs cuz they don't have any real historical value to them (Bonnie and Clyde were riddled with bullets in a shoot out with the cops in the end... don't forget the trail of murders they left behind too!). Nevertheless, people are still fascinated bt the whole "romance" of running away and being against the odds (Apparently Hikki is too!). Anyhoo, enough ranting! This song is suppose to respresent that whole escapism/ romance/ against the whole world thingy I was talking about. | ||||||||
