Mike Chase ran five races in 1991, most of them coming behind the wheel of A.J. Foyt's Oldsmobiles.  He scored his best finish of 25th at Talladega in the Die Hard 500.

1991 was a disappointing year for the 1990 Daytona 500 winner.  Cope scored just two tops tens the whole season long.  The one bright spot was his fourth place finish in the Heinz Southern 500 at Darlington.

Tommy Ellis started just two Winston Cup races in 1991, substituting for Geoff Bodine.  I am not sure why the number was switched to #97.  Ellis's best finish was 16th at Charlotte.
1991 was Harry Gant's most fruitful season in his career.  He won five races, four in a row in September, earning himself the nickname "Mr. September".  His efforts earned fourth place in the final point standings.
