LITTLE LEAGUE WORLD SERIES |

One of the coolest sporting events held anywhere in the United States takes place every August in rural South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Sixteen teams of the best eleven and twelve year-old little leaguers from around the world compete in the Little League World Series. The skill level of thses young players is absolutely incredible. Staffed by volunteers, parking and seating is for free... if you can find any. The championship game has been known to attract upwards of 35,000 spectators. And food prices are extremely reasonable as hotdogs cost $1 and hamburgers are $1.50. Truely a wonderful sporting event for kids and parents alike. |
