Our boys entered the Cub Scouts looking for fun and games.  What they found was a whole lot more.  Along the way ...

They learned to say the
Cub Scout Promise, and they learn what it means to make a promise... what a promise is.

They learned the
Law of the Pack, and can tell what it means.

They learned the meaning of the word
WEBELOS, a secret Cub Scout word.

They learned the
Cub Scout Sign, and can tell what it symbolizes.

They learned to give the
Cub Scout Hand Shake, and exchange it with their brother scouts.

They learned the
Cub Scout Motto, which we use every day.. DO YOUR BEST!

They learned how to give the
Cub Scout Salute.

And finally, our Cubs worked with their parents to learn how stay safe, in a world that is exciting, yet full of many different kinds of dangers ranging from bicycle riding to such horrible things as Child Abuse.

The Bobcat Trail

The Bobcat Trail is a rank that must be earned by all boys who enter the Cub Scouts.  Even boys who begin at the age of Bear or Webelos must first earn their Bobcat rank before moving on..

Our boys work hard to earn their Bobcat badge and they display it with pride on their left shirt pocket.  When  you see a Cub Scout displaying badges of rank, take time to notice... help them feel proud of the hard work they put forth.
