Troop 540 was originally chartered in 1934 as Troop 40 and is currently sponsored by the Madison United Methodist Church. Troop 540 is in the Cherokee District in the Old North State Council. Our Troop meets weekly on Tuesday nights from 7:00pm till 8:30pm. Boys age 11 thru 18 are invited to join in on the fun. Cub Scout Pack 540 of Madison NC is chartered to the Madison United Methodist Church at 110 West Academy Street in Madison NC. Pack 540 was originally chartered in 1944 as Pack 40.
