New to Paducah?
The Newcomers' Club of Paducah welcomes women who are
new to the area or have experienced a lifestyle change. The club provides a setting for newcomers to associate and make new friends while adjusting
to a new environment and finding their permanent
place in the community.
Members of the club meet regularly on the second Tuesday of each month, at 6:30 p.m., from September through May.
Meetings are generally held in a members home.
However, check the schedule for alternate locations in case of a "field trip".
At the monthly meetings, members have a chance to get to know other newcomers.
Meetings also include a presentation by a local speaker, whose organization is of interest or value
to people who are new in town. Typically, speakers at the monthly meetings are from
local businesses, service organizations, or facilities. Recent guests have included
representatives from:
- Paducah Visitors' Buraeu
- Challenger Learning Center
- The Museum of the American Quilter's Society
- The Luther F. Carson Four Rivers Center
- Kirchoff's Bakery
In addition to the monthly meeting, members participate in various groups and activities offered by the
club. Follow the links listed on the left to learn more about a group that might interest you. Below, catch
