| The "Hey Andy!!!" story is a story of true beauti...not really but it is intresting. This quote comes from the Scotland Co. Speedway here in Memphis. The announcer there is named Andy Middleton. Andy likes his job, he really gets the crowd into the races. One night at the races Andy was doing his job and there was another announceing speaking about the Jr. Fanclub prizes. The woman announced the numbers of the winners and everytime befor she did this she said is... "Hey Andy!" So we got tired of hearing this "attention getting" method of announceing. So we began to "Hey Andy!!!" Andy every moment we could. Now to make this sound right, it sorta sounds like the "WASSUP!!!" Budwieser honkies, only in the words "Hey Andy!!!". So everytime your in Memphis or attending a race in which "Hey Andy" Middleton is announceing, give em' a big ol' "Hey Andy!!!" He does not take offense to this, i think he enjoys it...;) |
