I began illustrating as a girl in the 80's between romping with my brothers and dressing Barbies, when I would be creative at my little desk for hours. I grew up to pursue Art and later, more specifically, Illustration.
I am now seeking illustration work for children’s markets such as picture books and magazines, in order to attract children to a lifetime of learning through excellent artwork
& design. I often maintain my portfolio as well as develop my own stories for children.
Along with having an ongoing relationship with area schools as a Visiting Artist, my experience also includes designing illustrative signage and magazine advertisements for
local businesses.
As the opportunities present themselves, I thoroughly enjoy presenting my work to
budding artists at local schools & colleges. I feel my illustrations are most successful when the fun that went into their creation shows through to the Viewer
& proves to light up on their face.
