Amanda- I just enjoyed a tour of the Paint Rock Webpage. Paint Rock and Concho County has a special place in my heart. My Maternal side of the family is William Stephen and Josephine Garrett. Josephine passed away in 1925 and William moved away in about 1945 or 46. Howeever, their son, Coy Garrett, farmed and ranched on Hwy 380 along with his wife, Annie Mikeska garrett, who was a sister of my father. Annie is now deceased adn her home in Paint Rock sold recently. Now my ties to Paint Rock are via the Paint Rock Cemetery, where Coy and Annie Garriett are buried, along wiht William Stephen and Josephine (Jossie ) Garrett, and my mother, Pear (Garrett) Mikeska.

Didn't mean to go into genealogy so much, but Paint Rock certainly has a spot with me. you have done an excellent job placing the Court House photo on the web page. I think Concho County should be commended for the excellent meeting place they have on the east side of court house. The Mikeska family, of Eola, held many reunions there.
Thanks again for an excellent webpage.
