For a pseudonym, I choose the name HUANG XIAN. It is not really that of a "false name" as one may see-- it is more of a translation. My name Donnie Ray could be traced from the Latin words Donum, which means "gift" (as in donation) and Rex, which means "king." Now, we have "gift" and "king" which could be interpretred as a gift of the king, or a king as a gift. Either, I shortened it into "royal gift." It was then, translated into Chinese by a friend, and it was converted to Huang Xian. So, that's it. |
