More Info...
The Junior Chamber of Commerce is an international organization that was started over 80 years ago to help young professionals gain management skills by planning community service projects. Our members continue this tradition by planning and running all of our community projects. Through working with the community our members grow professionally, particularly in the areas of communication skills and project planning.
In addition to professional growth opportunities through projects, the Jaycees also run training programs, such as presentation skills, and, on the lighter side, personal growth programs, like wine tasting and bicycle repair.
The Palo Alto Jaycees play an important role in improving our community today with volunteer involvement and in improving our community for tomorrow, by developing tomorrow's leaders. Many of the doctors, lawyers, business people, and city council people in Palo Alto today were past Jaycees.
