Semi-detached house situated in an excellent and quiet location midway between the medieval village of Pals and Platja de Pals (beach) with great views of the surrounding countryside, split into two apartments making it ideal for two families or an extended family wishing to share holiday accommodation but at the same time maintaining some independence.

SELF-CATERING ACCOMMODATION

Upper apartment (Sleeps 4/6)
Entrance hall, living-room with fireplace and access to terrace. Well-equipped kitchen with dining area comprising fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing-machine. Double bedroom and twin room plus sofa bed in living room. Shower room. TV with satellite and radio/CD.
Lower apartment (Sleeps 4)
Entrance hall, double bedroom and twin room both with sliding doors to the porch area. Bathroom and kitchenette.

ACCOMMODATION NOTES

The villa will be clean prior to arrival. Guest staying more than one week, a mid stay clean will be provided.

OUTSIDE OF THE VILLA

Porch with barbecue leading to the swimming pool. Large terrace with garden furniture.
Off street car park.

In principle not allowed but please check with owners for exceptions.

DISTANCES VILLA-BEACH

Nearest beaches less than 5 min. drive. This part of Costa Brava shows up for its spectacular coastline that matches wide sandy and small rocky beaches.

AIR TRAVEL TO COSTA BRAVA

Nearest airports are Gerona (40 km), Perpignan (90 km) and Barcelona (90 km), all of which are served by low cost airlines.

MOVE AROUND

A car is essential to spend relaxing holidays.

CATALAN CULTURE

Only a few kilometres inland you will find lively villages with impressive medieval architecture with massive watch towers, town walls and castles: Pals, Peratallada, Palau-Satur, Begur and a huge wealth of early Romance churches and cloisters.
Catalonia is culturally very wealthy. Figueres with the Dali museum and Gerona (Girona) with one of the most beautiful old town centres and cathedrals in Spain are not far from Pals; a trip to Barcelona is a must and the Pyrenees are also within easy reach.

SPORTS FACILITIES

Practically all sorts of sport and water sports are possible in the Costa Brava. The coast is ideal for diving and snorkelling. Golf and tennis, riding, hiking and cycling, as well as an extensive offer for children and teenagers supplement the beach offer.
There are several golf courses within a short drive offering challenging sport for both experienced and high handicap players. Catalonia is fast becoming the ‘thinking’ golfers destination.
Las Islas Medas offer some of the best diving in Spain. Regular excursions depart from L’Estartit, 20 min drive away. There are numerous local diving clubs and schools. They offer courses, local dives along the coast or excursions to Las Islas Medas.
