PROFILE
Who am I?
Coming on twenty-two years ago I was born
in this country, London England to parents who’d emigrated here
from Jamaica. I have been to Jamaica several times and I feel that I am
lucky to have my feet in both countries. I am black and proud to be British!
My heart is here but how I look belongs to the land of my parents.
A born artist, up and coming (further)
fashion designer/Consultant/Model & Hairdresser.
Achievements:
- i performed at the rocket
complex based in holloway of north london dancing on the r&b set
as a freesytle dancer for a company called new breed.
- Modelled for hair shows
at Hammersmith & West London College. After winning I then went
on to compete at Brighton to compete against other colleges.
- 2004-one
of the 16 finalist contestent for Miss Jamaica UK
- Been a part of a team at City and Islington
College, course Btec ND Fashion and Clothing which help made costumes
for performance based in king cross 2004 called…….. ,
- Had own in house first fashion show
in July collection called ‘I can’t Stand The Rain, presented
outfits for a fashion degree course. My designs owed everything to the
country of my parent’s birth. They were bright, vibrant, and stylish
with a flavoured elegance.
- 2005- worked with artist Reza who works
at the Barbican centre to take part in completing an art piece based
on ‘Words’ display at barbican centre.
Interested if not known already from the above stated art, fashion,
hairdressing, film, music, dance & athletics.
