AMPARD DALMATIANS has been established since 1963. It originated in the UK with Pam, Ian & Jonathon Marshall, and was one of the most successful kennels in the UK at the time the Marshall family migrated to Australia in 1984.

Pam & Ian were very lucky to have the advice and guidance of some of the top breeders in the UK when they purchased their first Dally. This gave them a great start with their main foundation bitch "Capriole Dilly's Daughter" who produced "Ch. Pampard Cabaret Ceramica". Having such strength behind their foundation bitch gave them a strong foundation for the kennel from the beginning.

Pampard came to Australia with 12 dogs and 1 horse and were lucky enough to continue their winning streak in their new home country. The kennel has successfully campaigned dogs to the Top Dog and Top Bitch of Victoria status ***** times and have won under both International and local specialist and All Breed judges.
Until the year 2001 Pampard held the "UK Top Bitch of All Time" title with 27 CC's under 27 different judges with "Melody", and still hold the record for top sire with "Psycy" having 3 champions out of the one litter.
In 1995, Jonathon married Shellie Wright, of the well known Grauhund Weimaraner Kennel. Shellie had shown many different breeds in her very active years of involvement in Junior Handlers. She was regularly seen in the Weimaraner, English Springer and American Cocker Spaniel rings with a number of dogs which had become special to her. Shellie handled her first Dally, "Mendleson", in 1991 and has been actively involved in the kennel since then. Both Jonathon and Shellie are also a part of Grauhund Weimaraners and both handle Weimaraners on a regular basis.

Jonathan and Shellie have been blessed to have also "bred" two wonderful children. Emily, "whelped" in June 1999, and Thomas, in October 2000. Regular show-goers know both these children at the shows, since almost every lunchtime they are seen parading around the dog ring with our 9 year old Jack Russell Terrier in tow, as well as other unsuspecting canine friends.
Sadly, Pam passed away in January 1998 after a difficult struggle with Cancer. Her dogs were her life, her love, and she would be greatly pleased that her son has continued on with her beloved dogs.
Pam was very lucky to judge her breed in many countries of the world and her knowledge of the breed was outstanding. The fancy lost an immense amount of experience and knowledge when she passed away.
