Bruno Tommaso, double-bass player, director of orchestra, born in Rome in 1946, have completed the first professional experiences in the field of jazz in the groups of Mario Schiano and Roberto Laneri. From 1969 to the 1972 ago take part of the Modern Art Trio with Franco D'Andrea and Franco Tonani, and he collaborates with Nunzio Rotondo, Enrico Intra, Marcello Rosa, and with the Santucci-Scoppa quintet. Later on ago take part of the quartets of Giorgio Gaslini and Enrico Pieranunzi and records discs with Frank Rosolino, Bill Smith, Steve Jack, Glenn Ferris and Evan Parker. Between the founders of the Popular School of Music of the Testaccio, and the Unstable Italian Orchestra, has carried out moreover didactic activity in Italy and to the several foreign country with seminaries, Siena Jazz, near the Center Jazz St. Louis, and moreover it has taught double-bass in several Schools of Music.
