BIENVENIDOS

To understand the country one needs to know something about its inhabitants. Historically speaking, they are a new race with roots dating back thousands of years to the Aztecs, Mayas and other Indians who originally inhabited this area known as Mexico, to the Spanish who conquered the land if not the people, and to the French who ruled it briefly. Mexicans are expressive and exuberant in music, architecture, crafts, and other types of art. Bold colors and powerful forms are characteristic of both ancient and modern artists. It is the intent of this HomePage to introduce you to the country, its people, its customs, and the events that lead many of its citizens to migrate. You will soon come to realize that Mexico's greatest asset is its people.
