Statement of Lúcio MascarenhasRecently a Protestant heretic, an adherent of the confluent heresies of Calvinism, Jansenism and Feeneyitism, and who goes under several pseudonyms, including as 'Blessed Alan Vincent' and as 'Pope Augustine I,' and as 'BadBob' made several attacks against me and the Holy Father, even going so far as to commit identity theft by stealing my name and signing it to a scurrilous and idiotic 'petition' (sic!) by the New Age Bennsian apostates [http://www.oocities.org/livrant/my-coprophobia-and-accursed-alan.html].The core of the attacks have been an allegation that I was dismissed by the Holy Father from the position of Papal Secretary and that I am 'disgruntled' as a result. Indeed, this contemptible vermin has even been so bold as to allege that I have defected from the Church of Christ due to this alleged reason. The facts of the matter are different. Over the last two years or so, I have been requesting His Holiness Pope Michael I to relieve me of the duty of Secretary for Correspondence, as I have no longer been able to devote time and effort to this position of responsibility. Part of the difficulty was the lack of candidates for the position. After Philip Friedl moved into the Pope's home (the proposed Annunciation Seminary), I had canvassed Friedl for that position. I am glad that at long last the Holy Father has accepted my request and given that responsibility to Friedl, effective February 2009. I had never sought the position, and I am not a follower of Christ due to the allure of any position. I have been pouring out my time and energies over the last fourteen years, and from 1999 on the Internet, to defend and propagate the True Faith, purely out of loyalty to Christ, and not due to a desire for any position. 'Badbob' who has appointed himself as 'Pope Augustine I' is a hypocrite to make such stupid allegations. Lúcio Mascarenhas |
