CAT STUFF

I must admit that I have not always been an fan of felines. This development has occurred within the last three years. As a child and young adult I considered myself only a dog person. Growing up we always had dogs, big dogs, little dogs, loud dogs, and not so loud dogs. I knew nothing about cats and I really didn't want to anything about them. As far as I was concerned cats were prissy, high strung animals who had no place in my life. When I was about 21 years old my mom got a cat because my parents had moved and their complex only allowed cats. I had been out of my parents house for 2 years at that time. Her cat was O.K. but nothing I got excited about. She was tolerable when I visited.

Three years ago my view about cats changed dramatically. While on my way out to an appointment, I had stopped to talk to a neighbor and the cutest little grey and white cat came shooting up the driveway and stopped right in front of us. This guy had chrisma or something because I was immediately taken with this guy. I reached down out to the cat very slowly, he began rubbing up against my hand. This little guy was the cutest thing I had ever saw. He allowed me to pick him up and as they say, the rest is history.

Geo(my husband named him not after the car but because geo=earth and my husband was in school working towards his certification to teach Earth Science)is definitely part of the family and I must admit he is spoiled. He is so much fun and loves being around people he is everything that I thought a cat was not. He likes sitting on us and will do it every chance he gets. He also likes to travel and is comfortable anywhere: At my mom's house, at my in-laws house, and even at our friends houses.

He has brought so much joy into our life more then I thought any animal could. He is the purrfect addition to our family.

HERE HE IS, THE ONE, THE ONLY, GEO

Isn't he adorable?

Here's another adorable shot of my favorite feline.
