One of my first published works
The roads of life are many,
The right ones, very few.
The paths of life are lonely,
I spent one dear with you.I tried your love, and lost it,
But my heart, stayed with you,
The precious loving memories,
Will always see me through.Our paths, may never cross again,
In a hundred million years,
And since, this fact I realize,
I'll now dry all my tears.Hold your head, high and proud,
And hear what I've to say,
I loved you dearly, all these years,
But finally, I stopped.............Today.Michael S. Madden
