Forgotten Dreams

There are those still out there,
Who want their love to grow,
They're looking for another,
A truer love to show.

They're not out there lurking,
Or hiding from the light,
They're only out there waiting,
For a brightness in the night.

Their dreams, were one time shattered,
And their love was once destroyed,
Now their hearts are empty,
With space to be employed.

They live a never ending,
Somber agony,
They look for love to live, again,
And hope to set it free.

They possess a true love,
Unlike, the lustful kind,
They're hoping and they're praying,
Again, that love, they'll find.
