I got a letter recent asking me if I was getting more “matronly” as I got older. The writer used my lower heel shoes and my slip/half slip as examples.
I am not sure if I am getting matronly or not. However, I have always loved to wear lots of clothes, the more the better. Often I will simply put another girdle and stockings on over the one I’m wearing, or take my dress off and add another slip or two.
In fact one of the reason I don’t care for some of the amazingly beautiful Transsexuals on the Internet is that they are wearing bikinis or no hosiery

This is not a new dress, bet I really love it. The dress itself is soft stretchy velvet, and the jacket is just lovely.
