Well this weekend really felt like fall here in the Boston Area.
I do love the season, but the jillion or so tourists that are in town right now are pretty maddening. Eating out downtown is impossible
We’ve had one of our major malls renovated recently out in Natick, Massachusetts
The new wing has a Nordstrom and Niemen Marcus. I had always worried about being too near a Nordstrom, because their shoe department is amazing.
So today, when I was only going to check the place out and not spend any money there, I ended up with some new shoes—gold sling backs that will knock you out.
There’s also a whole new group of cosmetics sales women to ogle!
I must say the new crew did not disappoint
Malls are amazing aren’t they? Just about everything a girl could want. On this afternoon I was headed to Macy’s because I got 4 different coupons in the mail. 2 were 20% everything except cosmetics, 2 had $20 off a purchase of $60 or more.
It has been 4 or 5 months since I did any serious re “stocking” and I needed pantyhose.
They had the Calvin Klein’s I like, so I got 6 pairs. Then I got some Hanes “Alive” support hose—don’t knock them ‘til you try them—and various other pairs. Then I got some Vanity fair briefs, a new robe, and a couple of shapers.
The department was pretty empty, but there was one woman ahead of me in line. Well she was doing a return, and another woman showed up and another and another…And I had to manipulate all these coupons. It took forever, but I saved a fortune. I cannot imagine what these other ladies thought though…
Then off to Sephora You have heard me rave about this place, and in this partuclar branh there’s a young lady who is very helpful. They also carry a line called “Makeup Forever”. How could I pass that up?
After Macy's I needed to go to the bank to ask a question, and that is where I got a shock. A 30 something young lady in a very short skirt, big breasts, black hose and five inch heels was the customer service rep I went to. She told me to come back anytime if I needed help, and I assured her I would. Now I need to screw something up in my bank account!
Carol told me that had one of us girls arrested the other day in her store. Turns out the girl in question was masturbating in the dressing room, rather loudly. They are rethinking their policy on letting girls use the dressing rooms. Turns out this idiot has done this previously as well.
Carol asked me if I had ever done anything like this…and I said no. Lie! How about you?
Anyone know a good site for wedding gowns? I am getting an inclination to buy one and I don’t want to break the bank
I have gotten 7 or 8 emails about EBay wig people. I have bought from a few of them in the past. My advice would be to stay away from the vendors who style the wig once you buy it. You can tell usually from the auction
If you check the vendors regularly and the the same wig then it is likely they arestyling hte wig after they get an order. Since you are all likely to be a fussy as me, you might not like what you get when it doesn't match the picture
