Isn't this outfit just spectacular!
Every TG person ever has heard the song "I Enjoy Being a Girl"
Well on this day, with this outfit, I really enjoyed being a girl!
It's another amazing outfit by Suzi's Ruffles, and as usual it fit perefctly, and looked great
In honor of this outfit I decided to wear all new things
This is a new Goddess longline, though I have 3 or 4 others
And a new Rago LLPG. For those of who who write to me and complain that Rago LLPG's have only 4 garters, ---sew another one on for heaven's sake!
I also wore a new pairs of pink floral briefs I have been saving, and a new Modess "V Form" sanitary belt
Also 2 new pairs of pantyhose, and these are new mesh suntan RHT's as well
And new shoes by Karen Stevens
They matched the outfit perfectly
I got the shoes at Filenes, a local department store that is being liquidated because Macy's bought them.
It's very sad actaully, now we'll have once choice for department stores
The only thing not new that I am wearing is the 100 yard petti and matching long pettipants
While the closing of Filene's is sad, I am taking advantage of it by buying shoes, pantyhose etc
Last Saturday I went to 4 diffent branches in seach of shoes, and found the motherlode in the old downtown Boston store
Along with these shoes, I got 5 other pairs, and for $12 - $15 each pair
And of course a zillion pairs of pantyhose
All the patterned designs in Hanes and Hue were marked $2.00 and $3.00, and then they were 50% off
And they actually had the support hose I like from Hue, in my size, so I bought 6 of them!
As a child I used to take public transit into Boston and walk around the cosmetic department of Filenes and Jordan Marsh, also gone. I remember those women, with enourmous hairdos and full makeup, and how lucky I thought they were
Oh well, maybe tomorrow I will go to another branch of the store and see what they have ....
