Up to this point all my pages have been strictly ministry information, whether inspirational, worship, praise / prayer or Bible Study. Those themes are my passion, my call and my most profound privilege. However, it is incumbant upon me to share something of a more personal nature with those to whom I am ministering.
That is part of the purpose of this page. Another purpose is to give interested parties information about how to contact me for MEETINGS, SPECIAL SERVICES and CANDIDATING FOR A PULPIT. I have served as an interim Pastor as well as Pastor. I have accepted existing ministries as well as planting other ministry opportunities.
I have assisted others in the foundational stages of their works and have given advice and counsel to others.
My purposes in ministry are really quite simple. TO HONOR THE LORD JESUS CHRIST BY ALL MEANS!
To present the Gospel message for the salvation of the lost; To present "the whole counsel of God", bringing the saved to biblical maturity; To present the ever-living Lord Jesus Christ to a world dead in sin (Isaiah 61:1-3; Matthew 28:19ff; Ephesians 2:1-7; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8); To present the tidings of His soon return for His saints (1 Thessalonians 14:16-18; Revelation 3:10).

Involves a complete arena of ministry of all sorts since April, 1971. I have pastored or held interim ministries in five churches. I have worked in youth activities and started the same on a number of occasions.
I have had a couple of opportunities to have radio broadcasts in connection with my pastoral ministries. One was an outreach into the Caribbean over the Caribbean Beacon, to an estimated 5, 000, 000 English-speaking listeners. The other was local in the community in which I pastored.
I have preached in Rescue Missions, in jails, in Nursing facilities, visited in hospitals, taught Sunday Schools, Bible School and developed youth fellowships. I have implemented Dial-A-Message programs, Bible Studies and visitation programs.
I have been involved in several personal evangelism programs in connection with visitation for my pastorates and others. I developed and held an introductory class in Koine' Greek in a local Baptist Church in Demorest, Ga.
I have done a lot of pulpit supply over the years. I've done some writing of articles or letters for local newspapers, solicited and unsolicited. I am in the process of creating and implementing a Bible Institute for use through the internet, in addition to the web studies and messages on this site.
I am also entertaining the idea of starting another church in whatever location the Lord would impress upon me and my family.
If you have an interest in this area and would like to consider this Pastor, you may by contacting me by surface mail, e-mail or by phone at the number and addresses supplied on this page.
In April of 1971, the LORD made me very aware of a Scripture passage at the time He called me into the ministry of His Word.
The text is Isaiah 61:1-3.
The exact fulfillment pertains to the calling of Jesus into His public ministry and is identified as such in Luke's Gospel account, Luke 4:18-22.
But I had the distinct impression He was using it for the same purpose in my life, and so I've used it as that for the past years since then. I respectfully quote it here:
