You are the First Fruits
A Plant of Renown,
The Branch of Righteousness,
And You wore thorns for a crown.
You are the Rock,
On which we must stand,
And the love You show us,
Is always so grand.
You are the sweet Rose Of Sharon,
And the only True Vine,
To which we can cling,
As in You, our hearts entwine.
You are the Lily-of-theValley,
Such a fragrance so sweet,
Let us lift high our praise,
As we sit at Your feet.
You are our Dear Savior,
A Bundle of Myrrh,
And the love You have for us,
Will forever endure.
So in our gardens,
Let us our voices raise,
As with our two lips,
We give You the praise.

8 And the Lord God planted a garden east of Eden; and there he put the man he had formed.
9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
God has promised, that in time of need,
We will have help if His promises we heed.
He'll give us strength when we are weak,
If we'll open His word and His promises seek.
He will cheer us when we are sad,
So stand on the promises and you will be glad.
He will give us comfort in time of woe,
But we'll only have it as the promises we know.
