Miniature Quilts from Our Auction
Over a dozen of the quilts from our miniature quilt auction are displayed on this page. We are proud to have raised over $600 to benefit the local chapter of the American Cancer Society.
"Patchwork of Sisters" Block Exchange
Several months before this guild formed, Linda Harker, our founding President, instigated a block exchange between a group of local quilters. She chose a block named "Patchwork of Sisters" from the Australian Patchwork Magazine. It was such a fun, bonding, experience that Linda and the founding members knew it was THE name for our guild.
Shirley Brown, Vice President during our first two years, issued this challenge based on a block pattern from Traditional Quiltworks called "Mom's Unwanted Block". We were each given a color that had to be included, but the rest was up to us!
