A TRULY VIRTUOUS WOMAN
Who can find a virtuous woman,
One who can be trusted by her man,
Her worth is far above a precious gem,
And to her husband she'll do good for him.

She seeks fine wool to work with her hands,
She gets the food they need from distnt lands,She'll get up before the morning light,
To prepare the food for her house just right.

She has real strength in her legs and arms,
And she'll even work if she must on the farms.
Even at night she won't put out her candle,
As she works at distaff and spindle.

She is loving and giving and never greedy,
As she reaches out her hands to the poor and needy.
She is not afraind of the rain, snow or cold,
As she makes the clothing for her household.

She makes her clothing of clothe that is woven,
And the work of her hands is always proven.
Her husband is wel know inside the gates,
When he sits with the elder and waits.

With strength and honor she'll be dressed,
And in time to come she will feel blessed.
In her mouth will be the law of kindness,
And not be know for idleness.

Her children will rise up and call her blest,
And her husband will praise her as the best.
Many have tried to answer this great call,
But the virtuous one has done best of all.

Favor is deceitful and beauthy is vain,
But the woman who knows God will know gain.
So give to her the work of her kind hands.
And let her be praised greatly in all the lands.
