The "Bindalsfaering", a small seagoing fishing boat, so named because it is believed to have been built at Bindal, Norway, was presented by the Government of Norway to the village of Norsewood to commemmorate the arrival of founding Norwegian settlers in the area in September 1872.
The boat housed in its purpose built glass "bathuset" arrived in Norsewood from Norway in 1972 and was dedicated during the towns centennial celebrations in September of that year.
