(For Result Click Here) Science College bans ragging on campus, hostels: Patna Science College, the premier institution of higher science education in the state, has banned ragging on the campus this year. Students found ragging the freshers would be punished severely. College principal S N Guha told that constant vigil will be kept on the activities of senior students on the campus during the working hours. As the classes of newly-admitted first year Intermediate science students would commence on Tuesday, strictly according to the Patna University academic calendar, college teachers would move around the campus in groups and keep an eye on the trouble mongers. Security guards have also been asked to maintain constant vigil on the campus. Hostel superintendents would ensure ragging-free environment in their respective hostels. With the ever increasing alertness of the college administration and active cooperation of teachers, ragging in Science College would be a thing of the past, Guha said.
