| LILAC/CREAM POINT & BLUE LYNX POINT The above photo may help to educate those not familiar with breeding chocolate & lilac showing or carrying Himalayans & Persians. Note that the lilac/cream on the left has a much more pinky/beige tone to her colour points. Many breeders are confused by pale blue points or poor blue colour. One will never produce a chocolate or lilac point unless BOTH parents are showing and/or carrying these genes. If the pedigree does not substantiate the possibility of chocolate or lilac, then the kitten is NOT chocolate or lilac. Additional colour definition is found on paw pads & nose leather: Cinnamon for chocolate and lavender (pinky grey) for lilac. |
