"What does Christmas Mean to You"
Christmas
Carols, bells and holly
Children
in snow, laughter so jolly
And Oh!
the beautiful Christmas lights
A walk by the
river on 'Festival' nights
Seeing couples
and families, hand in hand
The freedom to
do this, in our land.
But also - it
can mean 'feeling sad'
For those
bereaved, with memories they've had.
For changes in
some lives and those alone
Some who wait
for my visit or a call on the 'phone'
Especially, what
Christmas means to me
Is not the
presents under the tree-
But the saving
grace in the Baby - born long ago
He was sent for
us - Oh! - if everyone could know
All he wants to
hear is our thanks and our praise!
This free gift,
God's Son will be with us always.
God Bless You!
