Citing Sources
When you write your research paper, you will use other writers' ideas.  You must give credit to those writers by documenteing those sources in your text.  MLA has guidelines and a simple way of citing those sources.  Include your citations in your first draft.  That way, when you revise your paper, you will not have to worry about technical problems as much as the contents of your idea.
