Steps
1.

Create a file in Microsoft Word the way you normally would.

2.

To save, follow the following steps:

  • Click "File" menu.
  • Click on "Save As."
  • Make sure "Append file extention" is checked.
  • Name the file with no spaces.
  • Save to the location of your choice.
 
You have now saved a file that is ready to be attached to an email.
