Dear God I need your strength today My loved one is having another off day I feel so helpless God what should I do? I'm sorry God, I'm just feeling blue. Balance is unsteady and not feeling well Is it from the medication? I just can't tell I want to help and cure this disease Do you hear me God? Can you help us please? It is days like this when I want to cry But it's been so long, I come up dry. My feelings that I need to share I feel as if not a soul does care The lonliness that fills within I feel my patience running thin. To see my loved one live like this Where did we go wrong, what did we miss? What caused my loved one to get this way? Is it something in our air today? Nothing is safe, there is so much sorrow I live for today and pray for tomorrow. God if you could just bless us all Prevent my loved one from "the fall" Watch over us God if you will Allow a drink, prevent a spill. God am I asking for way too much? A little prayer, a loving touch- To let us know your still around Lifting us up from wheelchair bound Bring peace and light along the way So we can pray for tomorrow and live for today Written/ copywritten by Karen J. |
I said a prayer for you today That God would take your pain away. And make your spirit shine so bright As he touches your soul with his loving light. I cried to God as I prayed for you And asked him if he'd been crying too. With that, I received a message back "My child have faith, thou shall never lack, For I am here, I am your guide You walk my earth I give you pride, If you should ever doubt my love Stretch your hands to up above Forgiveness is granted to those who ask And prayers need be your only task For if I cry, It is just because I am blamed for all of our earthly flaws God would not destroy all that God has created Destruction to the world is caused by hatred Imagine creating something you cherish See it destroyed, watching it perish- So you ask if I cry and I now answer to you, When I cry, you'll see clouds cover both sun and blue It will rain upon many, when my tears start to flow But with every good deed, I will send the sun's glow May it shine bright upon you with it's warming light To let you know I am here, everything-be alright" It was then when I realized that it had been true Because the sun brightly shined as I said prayers for you It was his way of saying "everything-be alright" As I held onto the bible, and grasping it tight I looked to the sky, seeing both sun and blue Just a message from God, Shining his light upon you.
