Man are born soft and supple; dead, they are stiff and hard. Plants are born tender and pliant; dead,they are brittle and dry.

Thus whoever is stiff and inflexable is a disciple of death. Whoever is soft and yielding is a disciple of life.

IF YOU WANT TO BECOME WHOLE, LET YOURSELF BE PARTIAL. IF YOU WANT TO BECOME STRAIGHT, LET YOURSELF BE CROOKED. IF YOU WANT TO BECOME FULL, LET YOURSELF BE EMPTY. IF YOU WANT TO REBORN, LET YOURSELF DIE. IF YOU WANT TO BE GIVEN ANYTHING, GIVE EVERYTHING UP.
