Yellowstone
		We spent the first day around the Old Faithful basin, then went north to the Mammoth campground, crossing the Continental divid several times on the way.

					Old Faithful went off while we were there, but the wind was blowing fairly strong and it did not get as high as it could have.
		Interesting textures and colors created by the bacterial growth in the outflow from the geysers and pools.
					More strange colors.
		Small geysers were boling, spouting and gurgling where ever you go.
					Depending on the water content in the soils, the mud pots can be very active like this. Other times they just plop or gurgle and make strang sounds.
		Snow in the high country!
					We crossed the Continental Divide several times when driving from the south end of the park north to the Mammoth area.
