WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE FOR SCI-FI ST. JOHN'S 2005! You can be part of the excitement of the first sci-fi convention in St. John's in a long time. Our special guest will be actor Brian Downey, famous in sci-fi circles for his role as "Stanley Tweedle" in the television series, Lexx: The Dark Zone Stories. We will have a great day lined up, with games, contests and competitions, model-building, costumes, seminars and Q and A's with our special guests. If active participation is not your thing, there will also be exhibitors with different and hard-to-find collectibles and memorabilia, sci-fi books, comics and videos. Some items will be for sale. Movies will be shown throughout the day and you can have a rest and enjoy the entertainment. 
Our convention is organized and run by a group of five volunteers from various walks of life but with a common love of science fiction and fantasy. This is a non-profit event, with any proceeds going to the next sci-fi convention or to charity.
