My name is Mary. I am a 58 year old mom of two boys, ages 18 and 21, and wife to a wonderful husband. We have been married for nearly 33 years, and we are looking forward to many more years of wedded bliss. In my "spare" time, I enjoy reading fantasy books by such authors as Anne McCaffrey, Robert Jordan, Terry Brooks, Terry Goodkind, and David Eddings. I also enjoy woodburning/pyrography, crocheting, fiddling around on my computer, and adding to my Angels and Paddington Bear collections. As an elementary school teacher, I am celebrating my 35th year of teaching in the same school district. I am currently teaching a Gifted/Academically Talented 3rd grade class. They sure keep me on my toes! I am also the Gifted/Talented Coordinator for my school. I find it quite a challenging and rewarding experience. There's nothing like seeing that "little light bulb" go on above a student's head when he/she has finally understood a concept I am trying to get across!

I will try to update my site on a timely basis with new pictures of my family and interests, such as woodburning/pyrography, recipes, and other tidbits I find interesting and/or thought-provoking.
Unfortunately, the "Adopt a Guardian Angel" site, below, can no longer be located. It is still something very dear to my heart as it contained an important message for everyone concerned about the safety and happiness of children. I am keeping the little angel on my site, however, to remind us how important our children are to us. Let's take care of them properly!
